Reply with quote | #1 | Hello- I was looking at the link to the Northern Star Council website with information on the Fort Snelling Historic Trail, Trail of the North Star, and Lark of the Monarch. http://www.northernstarbsa.org/AdvancementAwards/CubScout/OtherAwards.aspx Has anyone done these trails? I was wondering if I could just plan a day and do a trail or if there is something I should go and check out prior to bringing the boys along? Any help would be appreciated! Thanks K Fisher |

Reply with quote | #2 | The Lark of the Monarch and the Wood Duck can both easily be done in a couple of hours - an afternoon or evening.
The Fort Snelling Historic Trail is longer, and I would suggest doing it in two days: one for the hike and one at the fort.
The Trail of the North Star (Le'toil..) I have not done this one, but it looks like it might be a full one day event.
Good Luck!!! __________________ Kim R
